INCREASE ROUNDTABLE ATTENDANCE

Our Vision
Have a Strong and Vibrant Roundtable in All Districts that meets the needs of Unit Leaders.

 

Illowa Council Commissioners’ Strategic Objectives & Goals

 

Objective I: Have a fully functioning Roundtable Team in each District.

 

            Strategies to Achieve the Objective:

  • Have a trained and enthusiastic Assistant District Commissioner for Roundtables for each District.
  • Recruit a team of 2 Roundtable Commissioners for each program (Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts and Venturing).

 

Specific Goals:

  1. Recruit Assistant District Commissioner for Roundtables for each District. [January 2015]
  2. Recruit Roundtable Team of 2 Roundtable Commissioners for each program (Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts and Venturing). [May 2015]
  3. Have Assistant District Commissioner for Roundtables and Roundtable Commissioners attend training. [June 2015]
  4. Have team trained “on the job” and formal training. [May 2016]
 

Objective II: Market Roundtable Program to Units.

 

            Strategies to Achieve the Objective:

  • Promote and encourage continued attendance to current participants.
  • Promote and encourage attendance to all unit leaders via all opportunities.
  • Coordinate program content with District Commissioner, District Executive and expected presenters.

 

Specific Goals:

  1. Assistant District Commissioner for Roundtables encourages attendance at Roundtable meetings. [Monthly]
  2. Assistant District Commissioner for Roundtables communicates to all unit leaders and adults via face to face, mailings, phone calls, electronically, etc. to attend meetings. [Monthly]
  3. Unit Commissioner follows up with non attendees to encourage attendance. [Monthly]
  4. Assistant District Commissioner for Roundtables coordinates the program with District Commissioner, District Executive and expected presenters. [Monthly]
  5. Solicit program resources for each future Roundtable. [Monthly]
  6. Have adult recognition at Roundtable meetings. [Monthly]
  7. Establish a routine evaluation of the Roundtable program. [Quarterly]
