 Friends of Scouting 2015

Here in Hoover we are thankful to have loyal supporters in the form of families who provide Scouting for their children, lifelong Scouters who help provide a successful program for the entire District, and Friends of Scouting donors who provide the financial support to keep us going year after year. These donors are parents, Scouters, local business owners, and community members, who all share in the belief that Scouting provides character development and a fun experience for our youth.

In 2015, we hope that you will invest in Scouting for another year to help us grow in the program we provide. This year, we want to provide a more educational experience by using the NOVA program to work STEM into Scouting. We want to bring in new Boy Scouts by getting out into the community and finding boys who want to camp, fish, and learn new skills outside of the classroom. We want to start new Venturing Crews in Muscatine and West Liberty to provide a new adventure for young men and women. When we combine the financial support of the community with the talents provided by our volunteers, we have a strong, successful Scouting program. Be a part of Scouting in 2015!
