This week we took The Pulse of Jeff Rieter! Jeff is the Director of the Bettendorf Family Museum. The Bettendorf Family Museum has been newly remodeled and features traveling exhibits throughout the year. The Museum also features workshops for Webelos Pins and other Pack and Troop activities! We talk with Jeff about museum family memberships, playing ball with the St. Louis Cardinals, and eating steak with Bono and Eddie Vedder.

The US Army Corps of Engineers has a great relationship with the Scouts and can provide a wealth of opportunities. John is an old friend of Andy's. We are excited that Bob has gotten the opportunity to take on this role. The week we took The Pulse of Theresa Hauman! Theresa is the Senior Recreation Manager of Davenport Parks and Recreation. Davenport Parks and Recreation has hundreds of things for kids to do this summer, from swimming to drama and everything in between. We talk about the Kid's Pass which is a great way to enjoy the Putnum, River Bandits, YMCA, and the Davenport Parks all summer! We also talk about the truth behind Parks and Recreation, eating steak oscar with the First Lady, and getting interrupted by a train.

This week we took The Pulse of John Diggs! John is a long-time Scouter and owner of Power Grafx, Inc. Power Grafx made all of the shirts for our Cub Day Camp this year and has made shirts and other items for many events across the Council. John has years of Scouting experience as well and has helped in many areas including Unit, District, Council, and National events. We talk about feuding Woodbadge animals, making t-shirts for the Buffalo Bills, and eating dinner with Jesus.

This week we took the Pulse of Pastor Kerrin Kirkpatrick of Asbury United Methodist Church in Bettendorf. Asbury United Methodist is the Chartering Organization for Pack 129. This week we sat down with Dr. Rich Hintz! Rich has been the head of the Kittan District Eagle Board of Review and has overseen over 300 boys attain the rank of Eagle Scout! Dr. Hintz is an optometrist at the Eye Care Pavilion in Davenport.
We talk about Eagle Scouts, busted brackets, and eating Ribs with Albert Einstein.
