Goal is to camp monthly. Various camp sites within a 150 mile radius during the year, Loud Thunder summer camp for younger scouts, and high adventure camps for older scouts.

Summertime activities:
We meet at prospect park during the summer for our regular scout meetings, and various camps, depending on where the troop wants to go

Charges/fees:
$50 annual fee, which covers registration. Camp outs are usually
around $15 unless there are additional fees for the activity. Summer
outings are kept to a tight budget usually between $300 - $400.

We have an outing every month of the year. We do COPE,
backpacking, canoeing, climbing, camping, hiking, caving, etc.

Every month, Starved Rock. RICC, Loud Thunder,
Blue River Wisconsin, Michigan U.P.

Summertime activities:
We have the new Scouts attend LT at least once before going on an
outing that is far away. We have had a contingent go to LT every
year. We also provide a high adventure outing as well. This year we
are going to Rock Island State Park off the coast of Wisconsin.

Charges/fees:
We charge $90 per year for dues, that covers patches and so forth and
eight FREE CAMPOUTS per year. There are four outings that we charge
for but we also have assistance available for those that need it.

General activities:
We camp, hike, canoe, climb
geocache, disc golf, swim, etc.
We spend a lot of time on Scout to First Class skills and leadership.

Camping frequency and places:
We do a summer camp, usually a new one out of council, but we also
partner with another troop to offer Loud Thunder as well. We generally
have three tent campouts in the late Summer and Fall, one is often a
kayak/canoe trip. We do a winter cabin campout with tent options as
well. Our goal is about 15-16 Nights a year. We haven’t been able to
camp in the Spring due to School/Sport conflicts, but we do a large
number of day outings and service projects in the Spring.

Summertime activities:
See Above. Our Summer Camp changes year to year and the youth look for higher adventure activities that interest them. Our Summer activities include time on and in water, biking, and other outdoor activities.

Charges/fees:
$24 a year for registration and participation in service projects. If we are unable to raise enough funds, we sometimes have to meet the difference.
