Boy Scout Leader Training Opportunities
It is our goal to have all Unit Leaders become fully trained as soon as possible.
What does it take to be considered trained?
Scoutmasters and Assistant Scoutmasters are considered trained when they have completed Fast Start, Youth Protection, This Is Scouting, Scoutmaster and Assistant Scoutmaster Leader Specific Training, and Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills.
Troop committee members are considered trained when they have completed Fast Start, Youth Protection, This Is Scouting and the Troop Committee Challenge as their Leader Specific training.

Scout Leader Specific Training - March 15, 2014
Scoutmaster Specifics is one of the courses Scoutmasters and Assistant Scoutmasters needed to qualify as a TRAINED BOY SCOUT LEADER. Scoutmaster Specifics is designed to give you the background you need to develop a successful Troop.
This course is open to all Scoutmasters, Assistant Scoutmasters and future Leaders. Help your Troop become the best it can be by completing the proper training.

This is an intensive overnight course for all Boy Scout & Venture Leaders that provides instruction and practice in the outdoor skills important to Scouting. OLS is the outdoor training session required to be fully trained as a Troop Assistant or Scoutmaster.
