We are proud to serve more than 2,600 youth who participate in Scouting in Bureau, Henry, Knox, McDonough, Mercer, Rock Island, Stark, and Warren counties in Illinois and Cedar, Clinton, Jackson, Muscatine, and Scott counties in Iowa. These 13 counties make up the Illowa Council!
Scouting has been shaping the youth of America for more than 100 years. Scouting does AMAZING things for youth. Though our name will be new, our mission remains unchanged: we are committed to teaching all young people to be Prepared. For Life!The Boy Scouts of America today announced that it will rebrand to Scouting America, reflecting the organization’s ongoing commitment to welcome every youth and family in America to experience the benefits of Scouting. The change will go into effect on February 8, 2025, the organization’s 115th anniversary.

Being a youth serving organization means we work with individuals from all walks of life with all sorts of experiences. Our summer camps have been introducing Mental, Emotional, and Social Health strategies over the last few years with the goal being to partner with community resources in times of need. Mental health is just as important as physical health.
