The Elbert K. Fretwell Outstanding Educator Award is designed to recognize non-scouting educators, who are nominated through local units. A unit may nominate one individual per year on each school campus. Educators make a huge difference in the lives of youth. Do you know one deserving of this award? About this Award
Anyone may nominate any deserving individual to the council, which selects recipients for the following year.
The selected winners will be recognized at our Community Impact Gala. This event will be held on April 27, 2025. For more info on this event, CLICK HERE.
Nomination Information
To nominate a deserving educator, please fill out the form in the link below and return it to the Illowa Council Service Center by March 14, 2025, at 5:00pm.
